40M Americans suffer from a chronic Asthma and COPD.

$113,000,000,000

Annual cost of chronic respiratory disease is a jaw-dropping $113 billion— greater than heart disease, trauma, or mental health
14,000,000

Every year, there are 14 million missed work days for Asthma only
only 50%

50% of adults with asthma and 40% of children with asthma do not have control of their disease
recent studies about nocturnal cough
Night cough as a biomarker for asthma control
Cough is an unconditional reflex of our immune system and accompanies diseases as Asthma, Allergy, COPD or Heart Failure.

In this recent study, researchers have demonstrated that increasing cough rates are associated with asthma control*

How it works

  • Insubiq Cough Detection App
A patient with a chronic respiratory condition will need to install Insubiq Cough Tracker App here
  • AI-powered cough analysis
Once installed in the app, the patient needs to activate the cough analysis mode. The AI-powered algorithm will initiate analysis of night cough and the dynamics of this symptom
  • Warning system
Encrypted stats will be transmitted to the physicians' dashboard if the patient has provided permission via the Cough Tracker App.
Alerts notification about asthma crisis will be reported to the dashboard or the Insubiq Cough Tracker App for physicians.
Reimbursement Potential

Validation Study
Objective: Identify the accuracy of a cough detecting algorithm compared with the human ear.

Method: Respiratory experts listened to each sound sample and labeled them. Their aggregated opinions were marked as the Gold Standard. Next, we compared the algorithm's predictions with the Gold Standard. In this way, we tried to detect the difference between the level of cough recognition by the human ear and the Cough Tracker algorithm.

Results:
Gold Standard (human ear) - 98.5% Accuracy.
Cough Tracker algorithm - 96% Accuracy.
